Here are a couple shots that I animated today for the film. I'm trying to work faster so I'm not animating scenes in order anymore.. getting kind of scatter-brained.

I finally got around to scanning some of the stuff that has been lurking around my sketchbook. .-. 
My film characters are really easy to draw, so I find myself doodling them a lot when I'm not working... I like having the ability to draw a character with practically any expression in any situation without really struggling with it, I guess. Even still, I struggle with those big feet.
A few of my film characters in "my style", whatever that is.
So I've been working on this epically expensive costume for Halloween based on Silent Hill 3.....

A doodle I started in a different class. I've been listening to that "Disturbia" song on repeat and it's inspiring me to do a lot of Silent Hill-related stuff... I was going to do Heather for this picture but decided to go with one of my OCs from the Kingdom Hearts/Silent Hill fic instead... but couldn't remember what her design looked like...
btw sorry about the watermarks, it feels awfully pretentious to watermark sketches, but I'm not sure what's going on with the Orphan Works bill...
I'm not sure how good the quality will be but I thought I might try uploading one of the first sequences I've managed to complete for my senior film. It's all rough animation and some of the shots still need to be tweaked. I've been working hard almost every day trying to get the film done.
I haven't had much time to sketch but hopefully I'll get around to scanning some sketches I've done.. eventually..
Haven't been drawing much recently... here are a couple sketches of Bolt. I'm trying to get used to the rather odd proportions of his head.
Hey everyone, long time no post here. I thought I would start posting some of the work I've been doing on my senior film... which isn't much at this point. I'm trying to get used to the characters and tie down their designs before I have to start animating in September.
Here is a height chart of all the characters. They're not really official designs at this point and I'm not too happy with the drawing so I didn't color it... mostly I was testing out a clean-up method I'd like to use for the film that will hopefully save me some time and money. I did these sketches in blue pencil and cleaned them up with red pencil. I can drop out the blue pencil entirely, leaving a very clean and sharp line behind. This works great the opposite way too, and lately I've been using this method to clean up my sketches, because I like the look of sketched clean-up and I always seem to lose it when I use ink.
I was studying bird movement in slow motion and testing to see how I could take that movement and apply it to a cat with wings... similar but pretty different.
I love the really simple style of the anime "Chi's Sweet Home" and was watching it while I did some sketches of Harriet.

Promotional illustration for my Silent Hill/Kingdom Hearts fanfiction. Sora, partly in Anti form, with a couple of figures from the story. Can't really explain who they are without spoiling it but I don't think it's hard to figure out. o.- I'd like to finish this but just thinking about it is daunting somehow... maybe I'll work on it a little bit at a time... I need to go back and take a ruler to that pipe still... and the legs of the figure on the right are way too short.
For some reason this reminds me of the Duke Nukem 3D cover, just much less dynamic. XD
A little Katamari thing... I went as far as making the lineart for this but didn't have the energy to color it. 8| If someone else is interested I can chuck the full-size lineart your way.
